We all have a favourite photograph of ourselves from our childhood. We might be playing around in the park. Dressing-up in mum’s clothes. Or blowing out candles on our birthday cake.
The moment we dig this old photo out we’re transported back in time, no matter how long ago it was. We remember the special drink mum made us when we were ill, how our dad used to make us laugh, and the favourite toy we refused to be separated from. (Even when we got all big and grown up.)
